Our team

Rob and Sarah became Christians while they were students at University. Having met, and married, whilst in Reading, they then felt God call them into the Vineyard movement of churches, which was just starting in the UK. They moved to Twickenham to join one of the UK’s then four existing Vineyard churches. It was during their time at Riverside Vineyard that they felt God clearly identifying a path which took them and their young family, back to Reading. This time, the call from God was to plant a new Vineyard church there in 1994. They are both passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God advance in the Thames Valley and beyond. Ray Mullen leads our Newcomer Welcome team, offering words of encouragement and prayer over the telephone to people new to our journey together.

Rebeca is a mum with two kids and is passionate about reaching our children and youth and introducing them to Jesus. Her contagious enthusiasm and fun personality brings out the inner child in us all! Please contact her via: Rebeca

John helps look after everything to do with the day-to-day running of Woodley Hill House, the home of NVC. During the week the building is used extensively by Activate College, and John helps ensure that the dual use works well. His particular duties are to promote the use of WHH, assist with venue coordination, facility management, and Woodley Hill House bookings. In his other life, John is a professional photographer! Marion works in the office on Wednesdays and handles all financial matters, working closely with the NVC trustees. If you have a query about Gift Aid, giving or expenses then she will be very happy to help you. Marion is a whizz with numbers and also loves chocolate! Please contact her via: Marion

From within Network Vineyard Church, Rob and Sarah work with a Board of Trustees, to whom they have accountability for financial, buildings, employment and legal compliance issues (making sure that the church, as a registered charity and company, are well run).
