Kenya Partnership

The Kenya Partnership is a partnership between Vineyard Churches in the UK & Ireland and Vineyard Churches in Kenya, focused on developing leaders through mentoring – the Joint Leadership Development Programme (JLDP).

  1. Build a long-term relationship between Vineyard Churches in the UK & Ireland and in Kenya – to mentor, coach and equip key leaders in Kenya with the skills and tools needed to achieve their God-given vision for the transformation of their communities.

2. Provide opportunities to learn about each other’s cultures and to deepen and broaden our cross-cultural understanding. We have so much to learn!

3. Explore the role of African Christians in the West and how we can work together to enhance our mission to multi-cultural communities in the UK & Ireland

John Neate from NVC, Reading leads the Kenya Partnership on behalf of UK & Ireland Vineyard Churches. Others members include Rob Gardiner and Jonathan Curtis from NVC, Godwin and Emily Aduah from Trent Vineyard and Guy Pritchard from Farnham Vineyard. They are paired with and mentoring pastors from 6 Vineyard Churches in Kenya.

Pray: We’d love it if you would pray for us and if you would like to receive updates on our work with our friends in Kenya

Give: There are considerable costs involved in the Kenya Partnership including funding our trips to Kenya and supporting our Kenyan partners when they come to the UK. If you would be willing to support the Partnership financially, we’d be very grateful!

Get involved: As an extension of the Kenya Partnership, we can encourage relationship building between Westerners and Africans in our communities. If you would be interested in taking part, we’d love to hear from you!

Join the JLDP: If you have experience of mentoring or coaching leaders and would be interested to use your skills to work with Vineyard leaders in Kenya and are able to self-fund, you may be interested in joining the programme
